The statue artist’s shows the Neptune Fountain Courtyard in front of the Library of Congress in Washington, US. The Neptune Place Fountain was dedicated in 1897-1898 in front of the Library of Congress. The fountain was designed by Roland Hinton Perry. Within the retaining wall, there are three large niches. Neptune sits on a rock in the middle niche. Neptune is flanked by his sons, the Tritons, mythological gods with the torso of a man and the fins of a fish. The conch blew the shell like a trumpet.
